We all know accidents happen. Whether it’s a new leather sofa or the bedroom of your dreams, your protection plan will allow you to relax and enjoy your new furniture without worry. We’ve got you covered for four full years.

Our furniture protection plans are extensive! All of our furniture warranties cover the common food and beverage stains. All warranties cover accidental burn and singe marks. That alone is great coverage! Check out what all is covered below!

To begin a claim, please contact Furniture Care Protection directly to file a claim. Claims must be filed within 5 days of the incident causing accidental stain or damage. Please have your original delivery date and the phone number used to make the purchase.

What is Covered

  • Stains from all household food and beverages. eg. Coffee, tea, red wine, chocolate, and ice cream

  • Stains from human and pet saliva, urine, stomach fluid, or blood

  • Accidental burn or singe marks caused by brief contact with flame or heat

  • Accidental ballpoint pen ink, wax crayon, facial cosmetics, nail polish, or nail polish remover

  • Color transfer from denim jeans or newspaper

  • Accidental puncture, cut, tear or rip

  • Failure of assembled joints

  • Accidental dents or gouge penetrating through the topcoat finish

  • Breakage of frames, panels, or springs; breakage of mechanisms including sleeper mechanisms, reclining mechanisms, heating, power, and vibrating mechanisms will be covered only upon the expiration and may not be used instead of manufacturer's warranty

What is Not Covered

  • General accumulation is soiling, odors, unknown stains, color loss, fading, normal wear and tear, no colorfast material

  • Seam slippage/separation or lost of cushion resiliency

  • Damage occurring before or during delivery, while furniture is in transit or storage, or during assembly

  • Damage from accumulation, neglect, or misuse

  • Stains from non-approved cleaners

  • Intentional physical damage, animal and insect infestation, pet damage other than those specifically stated in the plan, acts of nature, fire, burglary, theft, vandalism, collision, or corrosion

  • Damages occurring more than 5 days from opening a claim

  • Accidental scratches penetrating through the top coat finish from a single incident

  • Accidental dents, gouges, or chipping penetrating through the top coat finish from a single incident

  • Peeling of the finish of solid wood or veneer surfaces

  • Stains from non-approved cleaners

  • Any damages caused by pets

  • Cracking or peeling of top grain leather in seating areas

  • Cracking or peeling of all leather and vinyl in non-seating areas

Disclaimer:

Furniture Care Protection is a third-party warranty company offering a 4-Year extended warranty available for purchase with your new furniture. With this 4-Year Protection Plan, your furniture is covered against accidental stains and damage from most single incidents, such as a spill, puncture mark or pet stain. Please refer to your Furniture Care Protection Service Contract for detailed coverage information.

Furniture Care Protection may provide professional stain removal, repair advice and/or products to aid in the cleaning or repair of the stained or damaged area or item(s) under its extended warranty. If the stain or damage persists, Furniture Care Protection may arrange for a no charge in-home service by a professional technician. Depending on Furniture Care Protection’s determination, the stained or damaged area or item(s) may be repaired or replaced. Any single part of an item covered under this plan may be replaced a maximum of two times. If it is determined that the affected area or item(s) cannot be repaired or replaced, Furniture Care Protection may elect to issue a reselection for new replacement item(s) equal in value to the original purchase price of the affected item(s). The replacement items will not be covered under this Protection Plan. Replacement or reselections expire 30 days after issue.
